Adaptation to project

We took our shot list aswell as our ideas with us so we all could have a clear understanding of what we needed to be filming. On the day, we knew we had to get as much footage as possible so we recorded clips of signs (DANGER) and lights, after we can add effect on to it so it can flow with the fast pace video. Our initial aim, as a group was to add, as many effects as possible to the footage to make it look like a dubstep video. We decided not to add the green screen footage as we started to edit because we realized we had lots of quality footage that we can put together. We wanted to make our video stand out to the original therefore adding green screen would make it look childlike. To enable for the video to be in the target range, which is young adult, we didn’t applied any animation onto it. As we were walking to our locations, we thought that we could film interesting shots, just like the birds flying and the bus shots that were showed towards the end of the video. We weren’t going to add as many effects that we actually did, but we added it onto every shot except the last one, to not only make it interesting for our audience but also to give the video a narrative that the protagonist wants to finally show himself.
